We all encounter things on a daily basis that cause us to react strongly. The power in the practice of Yin Yoga is that we slow down just enough and hold each pose for long enough to begin to learn how to break the cycle of our reactions. Author Victor Frankl once said "between the stimulus and our response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. In this class we will explore long holds to release the connective tissue layers in our bodies. We will meditate in the sweet space in between each pose to unlock our ability to choose a more peaceful response to the everyday challenges we face on and off our mat.
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
