Welcome to an advanced paddleboard yoga class for fellow SUP Yoga teachers and/or seasoned yoga students. You will briefly learn the basics of SUP Yoga so you feel good on your board and then can treat it just like your mat. (I promise it's possible) We will do this by warming up with sun salutations and core work to move the body quickly in the beginning of practice. This class will guide you into advanced postures, creative arm balance transitions and explore going upside down on the water with the freedom of falling in as you try to play in your SUP Yoga practice. Discover how some poses you find really challenging on land can be almost easier on a SUP as well as learning how you have to approach a pose knowing that you are on a moving surface. Be prepared to fall, learn a lot and have fun.
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
