Hill repeats!
We'll go through a proper warm-up (dynamic movements and drills) before running an easy 2 mile warm-up. We will then do staggered hill repeats. On the same hill, we will go 30 seconds up at a HARD effort, walk 30 seconds down to rest-- REPEAT x 10. The part of the hill you run up will be different each time because you will not reach the bottom after each 30 second rest. 1 mile easy cool down + cool down stretches to end.
Class time devoted to lecture: Less than 5 minutes
