In Low Tide SUP Yoga, we'll relax and move with the breath to invite a sense of calm in a gentle flow. This class is designed for yogis who are new to stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Class will begin with a detailed intro to SUP on land that includes paddle techniques, safety considerations, and equipment information. We'll then practice paddling to a beautiful location and anchor ourselves for the yoga portion of the class. Expect to begin with a short meditation and to move mindfully through modified sun salutations. Poses are beginner-friendly and will build throughout class. We'll close with a blissful floating savasana. You may get wet, so bring your sense of adventure! You may be most comfortable wearing layers and a bathing suit with your yoga gear. All levels are welcome to join us on the water for Low Tide SUP Yoga.
Class time devoted to lecture: 11-20 minutes
