Have you ever wondered what a mantra is and how to choose one? How to cleanse your mala beads? What to do when your mind wanders in meditation?

This workshop is a 'how-to' on everything mantra, mala beads and meditation.

We'll start with discussing mantra — what is a mantra, how do I choose one, and how do I use it?

Then we will layer in mala beads, covering the essentials of choosing the right mala, using one in your practice, and cleansing your beads of negative energy.

To tie it all together, we'll sit in a short guided meditation. But before we meditate, we'll explore finding your best seat, how to breathe, what to do when your mind wanders and how to get back to your focus.

By the end of the workshop, you will be set up for a successful home meditation practice.

Participants will take home mantra card to remind them of their new intention.

There will also be opportunity for discussion and Q&A.
Class time devoted to lecture: 31-45 minutes
